Join us for the first of two corseting workshops! This workshop will focus on the basics of corset construction, the tools and supplies needed to make a corset, measuring the body, and beginning a mock-up.
Please bring $5 to cover the cost of mock-up materials. I will post a comment with a link to a free online under-bust corset pattern. Please print out a copy, tape it together, cut it out to the largest size (we will resize it during the workshop), and bring it with you. All other mock-up materials will be provided.
The cost of corset supplies for the second workshop can be shared amongst us. We will discuss the cost of said materials during the course of the day.
If you have any questions that you would like to have answered during the workshop, please post them in the comments. I will do my best to have an answer for you.
Garb is not required for this event, but you may wear it if you would like. Gentlemen are welcome to join if they wish to learn about corsets or if they would like to see a lacing demonstration.
